A few days before the two U2 concert in Milan on the network are several examples of what appears to be once again a huge tour, full of technological innovation and certainly emotional impact .. and I would like to see at a cost of 106 million EURO and 120 trucks.

P2P in Ireland: new resitrizioni

In istaurando Ireland is a very bad climate for the P2P world, even the music industry lobbyists, who have reported great success when one of the largest Irish ISP Eircom, has given up fighting in court and agreed to disconnect their customers, guilty of violation of copyright, now they want the ISP block all file-sharing sites starting with the Pirate Bay.

The funny thing is that at least in the case of the Italian block Pirate Bay, ISPs had to obey an order of the financial police, even though the court of review has decided to cancel the prohibition, but in Ireland there is no provision lawsuit against Pirate Bay. It is, in fact, of private agreements between ISPs and the music industry and the politicians, like Pontius Pilate, wash their hands, not wanting to be involved in the story that would put against public opinion.

So the situation is that Eircom will block any site which will be reported dall'Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) and will accept any blacklisted at the same time the music lobbies have given notice to the other ISPs within seven days to accept the same deal, otherwise they will be cited in court. Of course, ISPs do not agree and seek protection. Do not really know who can turn to, because as said that the political forces are conspicuous by their absence, while virtually every form of freedom is eliminated from the internet.

And if the site has a lot of material free from the constraints imposed by the copyright will be blocked too, just an infringement notice in respect of the site. This will also say that in Ireland no artist can expose its content using peer to peer technology since then carries the risk that the site is disconnected, thereby it destroys any possibility for an artist to make known his deeds outside the official channels.

Really hope that public opinion in Ireland react to these charges. If Eircom, in fact, might begin to see many of its users that dissolve the contract and move on to other ISPs who have not accepted the dictates dell'IRMA, ie if all this back from a big financial loss, we must see whether it will continue to blindly obey taxation of music lobbies.

No Line On The Horizon

No Line On The Horizon I think many like me are scared listening to the new single from U2 prelude to their new album. It had already happened in the past but we forget about forever. Get On Your Boot's is what was The Fly for Achtung Baby, Pop or Dischotèque for How To Dismantle An Vertigo Atomic Bomb. They always try there. We try to surprise and unsettle their audience by launching an individual who has little or nothing to do with the rest of the album.

My first impression after listening to No Line On The Horizon are enthusiastic. It 's useless to venture into comparisons with the distant past. U2 goes ever recognized a lucidity and regenerative capacity of constantly re-read this very uncommon. This album is a mature, refined (directed to the console Eno feels and how!) And that brings in the folds of guitars dell'inossidabile Edge content at the highest level.

It will be certainly the mainstream pop album of the year. Seeing him and hearing him, but another emerges certainty in No Line On The Horizon is not only all the music of U2, but there really any music. The genres are hiding and emerge in a constant game of quotations. Gospel, country, rock ellettronico, 60's rock, ambient ... everything!

U2 are also musically more generous and brave: Adam's bass riffs, guitar solos Edge and skins on which Larry beats sound changes depending on the piece. Bono is stratospheric, as usual, but this certainly does not surprise anyone.

Welcome back U2!
